Doris Calloway, née Howes (February 14, 1923 - August 31, 2001) was an American nutritionist noted for her studies of human metabolism, role in public health, and food preservation and safety. She was a professor of nutrition at UC Berkeley from 1961 to 1991 and served a turn as provost at the university from 1981 to 1987, the first woman to hold that position at Berkeley.
